gradual easing of summer
pack ice conditions, but
there is no question this
remains a landscape where
nature reigns supreme, and
we will go only where the

Itinerary Highlights:
Resolute Bay, considered by
some as "The Serengeti of the
Arctic", this area is rich in
narwhals, belugas, bowheads,
walrus, polar bears and a wide
variety of birds, all feeding on the
30,000 tons of Arctic cod known to
exist there. Beechy Island - remnants of Franklin's expedition. Cambridge Bay, the muskox capital of the world, 30,000 animals inhabit the region. Bellot Strait - icebergs and the northernmost point of North America.
Prince Leopold Island - Migratory Bird Sanctuary - thick-billed murres, northern fulmars and black - legged kittiwakes.
