We will explore Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe on this 19day safari. Experience breath-taking sand dunes in Sossusvlei, encounter the animated creatures at Cape Cross Seal Colony, practice your wildlife spotting in Etosha National Park, Chobe National Park and the outstanding Okavango Delta. We will be game viewing by our Safari truck, by jeep, boat, mokoro and on foot. Viewing animals at night by a floodlit waterhole in Etosha is a wonderful experience (very hard to go to bed!). We split the tour up with hotel and camping. This way we get the full safari experience and keep the cost down – 9 nights in hotels and 9 nights camping. We will end our journey at the Magnificent Victoria Falls.
We travel in our safari truck, The Beast, designed to comfortably carry up to 22 passengers together with their luggage and camping equipment, in comfort. There’s plenty of room on board to spread out, plus fridges and coolers to keep drinks and snacks cool. The Beast has soft, comfortable seating and is designed for excellent game viewing and sight-seeing. It is a safe, reliable, well maintained vehicle and handles the road conditions perfectly.
Nearly all meals are included on the safari. When camping, meals are prepared by our own Camp Chef who cooks delicious, wholesome and healthy camp fire breakfasts, lunches and dinners at The Beast. Fresh food supplies are available all along our route. Our camping nights – the Beast provides – camp chairs, two person tents you can stand up in, 7cm foam mattress and camp cots. A dedicated supportive crew attend to all camp duties – set up and take down of tents. Your only involvement is to enjoy your holiday. If you wish to help Chef slice the veggies, go shopping, or, assist our Driver to ‘maintain’ The Beast, you are welcome to get involved, only if it is fun for you to do so. We set up camp chairs around the fire for dinner, drinks and conversation each night.
